Saint John Bosco, lovingly known as St. Don Bosco, was a renowned Italian Catholic priest, educator, and visionary who dedicated his entire life to the welfare, education, and holistic development of young people, especially the poor and marginalized. He was born on 16 August 1815 in Becchi, near Turin, in Italy. From a very young age, he demonstrated deep compassion, leadership, and a strong desire to guide children toward a meaningful and dignified life.
